Search for Evan Turns Up Body

The Imperial County Sheriff's Department went on a frantic hunt to bump former UFC champion Evan Tanner ahead his body was observed in the desert yesterday.

Tanner had gone into the California desert, even blogging about his "adventure," saying, "I'm not going out into the desert with a pair of shorts and a bowie knife, to try to live off the land. I'm going fully geared up, and I'm planning on having some fun."

Evan was 37.
